But if you have breathing problems regularly or if you have a lot of problems, you must consult a doctor.
Some home tips to get rid of breathing problem-
1. If you have trouble breathing, lean forward. Doing this relaxes the body and also facilitates breathing. Leaning like this puts pressure on the lungs and heart. So this method should be adopted if there is difficulty in breathing. To do this, sit on a chair, lean forward with your feet flat on the floor and keep your neck and shoulder muscles relaxed.
2. Breathing deeply using the abdominal muscles can relieve breathing problems. Lie on a flat surface and place your hands on your stomach and then breathe deeply through your nose. In this way, take a deep breath and hold it for a while before exhaling. This will get relief from breathing problems.
3. Among the breathing exercises is pursed lip breathing — very simple and effective. This method is very useful if you ever have shortness of breath due to anxiety. To do this, first keep the neck and shoulder muscles relaxed. After that slowly inhale through the nose and hold the breath for 2-3 seconds and keep the mouth closed during this time. After that open the lips slightly and exhale slowly for 4-5 seconds like whistling. This will give you a lot of relief.
4. Taking steam inhalers can sometimes cause thick mucus to build up in the airways, which obstructs breathing. In this case, steam inhalation or hot steam turns the thick mucus accumulated in the airways into liquid. As a result, there is no obstruction in the airways, which relieves breathing difficulties.
5. Caffeine present in black coffee is very useful in reducing shortness of breath. Caffeine helps to relax the airway muscles. Studies have shown that caffeine plays a special role in relieving breathing problems in asthmatic patients.
6. Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties, which are particularly helpful in reducing lung inflammation. Drinking ginger tea or lukewarm water with ginger helps in normal breathing.
7. Turmeric has many anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It protects the body from infection. Mixing turmeric with milk and drinking it removes respiratory problems. Due to the presence of curcumin in turmeric, it also plays a special role in stopping allergic reactions and histamine release. Due to these qualities, turmeric is very useful in eliminating respiratory problems.
