Getting wet feet is a daily problem during this damp monsoon season. Which can cause fungal infection, itching, foot odor and black spots. So know some quick tips on foot care.
1) Keep your feet clean: Did you come home from running around in the rain all day? Now take a bowl of lukewarm water and add a small amount of Savlon or Dettol in it. Soak your feet for 5-7 minutes and remove. Clean with a light hand loofah. Then wash the feet with an antibacterial soap and wipe them well. In monsoons, the shorter the nails, the better, otherwise the accumulated dirt under the nails can cause a lot of suffering.
2) Exfoliate: At this time, you should clean your feet by scrubbing them with a loofah every day while taking a bath. If you have time, soak your feet in shower gel or shampoo for 10 minutes and clean them well.
3) Pedicure at home: First boil water with neem leaves. Then mix lemon juice, salt and shampoo in it and soak your feet for 15 minutes. Then clean the heels and soles of the feet thoroughly with a pumice stone. Dry the feet and apply a good cream all over the feet.
4) To get rid of black spots on feet: At this time, black spots can be seen on the feet of many people. To avoid this problem, make a mixture with lentil batter, 2 toes of almond batter, milk and 1 teaspoon of glycerin. Apply it on the feet, when it dries, rub it well with milk and remove it. Then wash your feet with lukewarm water and wash well and wipe with a clean cloth.
5) Foot Mask: If you can apply a mask on your face, why not on your feet? Mix 2 tablespoons of multani soil, turmeric paste, neem leaf paste and apply it on your feet for 20 minutes. Then wash your feet with lukewarm water. Wipe your feet well and apply a little olive oil. Then go to sleep. Wake up in the morning and you will see soft smooth feet.
6) Tired feet: Soak your feet in cold water mixed with lemon juice to remove tired feet. Fatigue will also disappear. Sun tan and hope to reduce.
7) To remove tough skin on ankles: Mix equal amounts of castor oil, olive oil and coconut oil and mix with 2 teaspoons of sugar and lemon juice. Keep rubbing on the tough skin of the feet until the oil is absorbed into the skin.
8) If feet smell: Follow a regular pedicure routine. Clean and wipe the feet and apply a light moisturizer. Then apply some talcum powder. Always prefer open shoes or sandals rather than closed shoes. If you have to wear shoes in the office, go for cotton socks. And sometimes take off your shoes, for air circulation.
